Rhum JM 2012 Single Batch 10 Year Reserve French Oak Rhum

Rhum JM is known in Martinique as being a particular specialist of aged rhum agricole, with a more concentrated focus on their barrel program than any of the island's other distilleries. This stellar 10 year bottling shows the deep character of supremely well aged JM in French Oak, which we think shows off their profile better than anything. With less vanilla than American oak, it lets the elegant spice and fruity notes shine through, with prominent cassis, strawberry, balsamic, and nutmeg notes carrying a rich, balanced oak finish. Bottled at cask strength, 50.6% abv.
