Clement Tequila Cask

There is a lot of overlap in the cultures, flavor profiles, and followers of cane based spirits and agave spirits, and this represents a wonderful coming together of the two. The finishing in Tequila casks brings out some of that unctuously vegetal-sweet profile that both spirits share, lending some slightly darker and earthier agave elements to the generally brighter, briny, cane juice elements. On top of this interplay there are also notes of strawberry jam, spicy cinnamon, and a kiss of anise and oak. Aged for four years in ex-bourbon barrel, then finished for one additional year in ex-Tequila casks. Bottled at 60.6% abv.
