Holmes Cay Jamaica 2012 "Jury Choice" 11 Year Rum

This single cask of pot still rum was distilled at Jamaica's Worthy Park Estate in 2012, where it then aged tropically for 8 years, before being transferred to Europe, where it matured a further three years, all in ex-bourbon casks. It was selected blind by the jury at the 2023 New York RumFest as the "Jury Choice", reflecting the depth and complexity of the bottling. It shows sweet tropical fruit, spice and vanilla notes throughout nose and palate, with an elegant toffee and leather finish. A special cask that shows a perfectly balanced expression of Worthy Park's lower ester WPL marque, a classic of Jamaican rum making. Bottled at cask strength of 57.2% abv.
