Hamilton Strong Water Lost Voyage Rum

This Rum blend from Ed Hamilton was made for Anaheim's Strong Water Tiki Bar. Like many of Ed's blends, this relies on a marriage of two of the Rum world's great Rum nations: Jamaica and Guyana. This has always proven to be a match made in heaven, with the bright, fruity pot still rum from Jamaica's Worthy Park Estate balancing Guyana's dark, molassesy character. The notable difference between this bottling and previous blends is how evidently Jamaican forward it is, using the Guyana rum as a tool to deepen and enchance the brighter Jamaican flavors rather than sit out front as a character on its own. Notes of banana, molasses, apple skin, candied ginger, black tea, and cacao nibs are beautifully balanced, making this a great option for mixing or sipping neat. Bottled at 45% abv.
