Barrell Ice Wine Cask Finished Bourbon

 A unique entry into the Cask Finish Series from Barrell, this expression is a blend of bourbons from 5-15 years old* finished in casks that previously held Ice Wine and bottled without chill filtration at a cask strength of 106.52 proof.  The nose is fruity and floral with strawberry, peach, and melon backed by caramel, vanilla, hazelnut, and ginger.  Sipping reveals flavors of sweet honey on toasted wheat bread along with raisin, apricot, coconut, hazelnut, white pepper, and ginger.  The finish leaves the tongue with tingly white pepper, ginger candy, and hazelnut.
