Barrell Batch #35 Bourbon

Batch 35 of Barrell Bourbon features a blend of bourbons from Tenessee, Kentucky, and Indiana ranging from 6 to 13 years of age bottled without chill filtration at a cask strength of 117.5 proof.  The nose opens with fruity cherry and lemon curd before oak and chocolate join in.  The sip begins spicy with Aztec chocolate and cinnamon before earthy pine and oak hit on the mid-palate.  On the finish, citrus and cola give way to herbal rye.
