Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey

The Tyrconnell is a single malt Irish Whiskey made by the Kilbeggan Distillery.  Unlike most triple-distilled Irish Whiskey, The Tyrconnell is distilled only twice, retaining more of the character of the barley malt at its heart.  Scents of roasted nuts, shortbread, and sweet oak greet the nose.  On the palate, honey and orchard fruit give way to mild grassy spice and a finish with sweet malt and a touch of oak.  Bottled at 86 proof.
