Powers John's Lane Irish Whiskey

John's Lane is a traditional single pot still Irish whiskey, meaning it is distilled from a mash of both malted and unmalted barley.  The whiskey is aged at least 12 years and bottled at 92 proof.  The nose is spicy and sweet, with notes of earthy chocolate, oak, spice, and sweet fruit.  The palate leads with dry spice and oak before blackcurrant, raisin, chocolate, and coffee join.  The finish features dry oak and vanilla.
