A few years Buffalo Trace asked whiskey drinkers to “Craft Your Perfect Bourbon” (C.Y.P.B.), a combination of their ideal bourbon recipe, proof, warehouse location and age. Thousands chose wheated bourbon, and this limited edition whiskey is the result of the overwhelming consensus - a wheated recipe bourbon, aged on the highest warehouse floors for eight years and bottled at 95 proof.

Noticeably sweet up front, the initial burst of flavors is comprised of peaches, butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, and a hint of citrus. A moderate amount of aged oak rounds out the backend, providing just enough intensity to hint towards the bourbon’s age. The flavors are nicely balanced, making for a well-developed and very pleasant sip.
