L'Encantada Lot 4-A-Cause XO Armagnac

For the fourth edition of their stellar XO series, L'Encantada is donating a portion of the proceeds to charitable efforts in the field of pediatric epilepsy care and research. The blend is made of eight different casks, ranging in age from 16 to 36 years old. Compared to many American market Armagnacs, Lot 4.0 shows much more bright fruit and florals to balance with cask character, never overpowering with dark, tobacco-y oak, which instead plays a lovely supporting role to the berries-and-cream at the center. The cask blend is as follows:
