Elijah Craig Barrel Proof C922 Bourbon

The last and also the highest proof in the Elijah Craig Barrel Proof 2022 series, Batch C922 finds middle ground between the earlier releases. The year kicked off with Batch A122 which delivered an earthy pour and was followed by Batch B522, which delivered a spicy pour. Batch C922 delivers a slightly sweet pour with a nice balance of additional spice and a touch of earthy notes. Its nose opens with a blend of classic bourbon scents, while its palate and finish provide sweeter and spicier notes with a touch of oak and leather to ground it. There’s also of course its pleasant heat that is derived from its 124.8 proof.
