Bardstown Discovery Series #7 Straight Bourbon

Bardstown Bourbon Co.'s Discovery Series showcases the art of blending hand-selected, supremely aged bourbon. For each release, team members throughout the distillery taste, analyze, and vote on the best recipe. It is a celebration of collaborative spirit, with the whole distillery working together to create something unique and spectacular. This seventh release in the series showcases some Canadian whiskey in the blend for the first time, with a 21% of the final blend being a 12 year old, 100% corn whiskey from Ontario. The remainder of the blend is made up of 12 year bourbons from Kentucky (56%), a 7 year rye from Indiana (15%), and a 17 year old bourbon from Tennessee (8%). 

Walnut and brown sugar with bursts of white flowers and tangerine create a delightful aroma leading to baked Honeycrisp apple and dark chocolate on the palate. The first international Discovery delivers smooth complexity with every sip. Bottled at 57.25% abv.
