Mr Black Coffee Amaro Liqueur

Mr Black Coffee Amaro is a bitter liqueur inspired by Italy’s after-dinner drink tradition and Australia’s coffee culture. Created by Mr Black head distiller Philip Moore, this Amaro combines his love of fine coffee, and his three decades of botanical exploration. This special edition recipe captures the flavours and aromas found in both beverages: bright fruits, abundant herbs and seductive spices. The bittersweet flavour of Arabica coffee is the perfect base for a modern Amaro. The original coffee liqueur is fortified with distillates of 14 different botanicals, local grapefruit and orange peel and gentian. The result is a big, rich, and complex amaro with prominent citrus and cacao notes on top of the robust cold brew coffee flavor. No artificial flavorings are used. Perfect in a stiff stirred cocktail, with tonic water, or even in a dark spin on a spritz. Bottled at 28.5% abv.
