Thresh & Winnow 10 Year Rye Whiskey

A tantalizing new release from accomplished craft distillers Koval, Thresh & Winnow 10 Year Rye is distilled from a mash bill of 100% organic rye and is aged "gracefully in the Midwest" for at least ten years before single casks are bottled at 100 proof.  The gorgeous dark amber liquid gives off scents of cracked black pepper and dried fruit with sweet oak lurking underneath.  The sip opens with spiced fruit before vanilla and dark chocolate appear on the midpalate.  A lengthy finish weaves baking spices through chocolate and rich sweet oak.
