Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon

The flagship bourbon from Brown-Forman's Old Forester, this whiskey is distilled from a mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley and bottled at 100 proof.  The nose shows notes of sweet caramel and cherry which are countered by dry oak.  The palate likewise begins sweet with fruit and maple syrup before a wave of oak rolls through.  On the finish, baking spices pop and fade as rich oak lingers.  This is a great cocktail whiskey  that won't get lost among other flavors.
