George Dickel Single Barrel 15 Year Whiskey

Following up on the two immensely popular and well received Bottled-in-Bond releases, the first new bottlings to come out of the distillery under new master distiller Nicole Austin, this 15 year old single barrel offering further demonstrates that Dickel is sitting on a huge stock of really well aged whiskey, especially when compared to most of the big Kentucky distilleries. Being a single barrel, the proof varies from low-mid 40's to mid 50's depending on the barrel. 

Expect notes of vanilla, toffee and treacle to rich leather, saddle oil and wood, to a more delicate perfume of fruit and lavender.
