Your Legal Responsibilities

State and Local Compliance. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the receipt and possession of alcoholic beverages. This includes obtaining any required permits, paying required fees or taxes, and ensuring you are legally entitled to receive alcoholic beverages in the quantities ordered.

Age Verification. You represent that you are at least 21 years of age and that any person accepting delivery on your behalf is also at least 21. An adult signature (21+) is required upon delivery with valid government-issued photo identification.

Shipping Authorization

Carrier Appointment. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to select a licensed carrier and arrange for delivery of alcoholic beverages on your behalf. We only ship to addresses in states where carriers are legally permitted to deliver alcoholic beverages.

Regulatory Complexity. The regulatory landscape for shipping alcoholic beverages is extremely complex and continuously evolving. 6. Title Transfer and Risk of Loss

When Title Transfers. You become the legal owner of alcoholic beverages when:

3. The goods are picked up by the carrier in California

California Title Transfer. Title to all alcoholic beverages passes to you in California when the carrier takes possession of the goods. Once title passes, you assume all risk of loss or damage.

Importation. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that you become the owner in California, you are importing the alcoholic beverages into your state for personal use, and you are responsible for compliance with all laws governing such importation.

7. Taxes

California Sales Tax. All purchases are subject to California state sales tax, which will be added to your order total at checkout.
